PRESS RELEASE Oldham shows UKIP have ‘shot their bolt’!
Despite having a clear run left for them by the English Democrats, UKIP have failed (again) to beat Corbyn’s Labour in Oldham. UKIP have ‘shot their bolt’!
The English Democrats left the field clear for UKIP insurgents to do as well as possible in Oldham. Despite Labour’s new Leader making it clear that he was very much of the unpatriotic Far Left, nevertheless UKIP was unable to make the breakthrough.
This was even with all UKIP’s tremendous campaigning efforts and its £100,000 campaign spend. UKIP’s “Believe in Britain” and “British” Eurosceptic message failed to resonate sufficiently with Oldham’s patriotic English voters. http://www.ippr.org/news-and-media/press-releases/euroscepticism-in-england-is-english-not-british
It is now increasingly clear that UKIP’s time has come and gone. UKIP’s shelf life is limited in any case to the end of 2017, by which time the EU Referendum would have been decided and UKIP’s sole purpose will have either been endorsed or rejected by the electorate of the United Kingdom.
Robin Tilbrook, Chairman of the English Democrats said:- “It was sadly all too predictable that UKIP’s insurgency in Oldham would fail, given UKIP’s failure to become an English nationalist party and its leadership’s obsession with increasingly old-fashioned and irrelevant Britishness.”
Robin continued:- “UKIP’s shelf life is now approaching the end, as once the EU Referendum has come and gone, before the end of 2017, UKIP’s sole purpose will have ended. I am now looking forward to the day when the rising sense of English nationalism is politically and culturally centre stage – from 2018 onwards!”

Key facts about the English Democrats
The English Democrats launched in 2002 andare the only campaigning English nationalist Party. We campaign for a referendum for Independence for England; for St George’s Day to be England’s National holiday; for Jerusalem to be England’s National Anthem; to leave the EU; for an end to mass immigration; for the Cross of St George to be flown on all public buildings in England; and we supported a YES vote for Scottish Independence.
The English Democrats are England’s answer to the Scottish National Party and to Plaid Cymru. The English Democrats’ greatest electoral successes to date include:- in the 2004 EU election we had 130,056 votes; winning the Directly Elected Executive Mayoralty of Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council in 2009 and also the 2012 mayoralty referendum; in the 2009 EU election we gained 279,801 votes after a total EU campaign spend of less than £25,000; we won the 2012 referendum which gave Salford City an Elected Mayor; in 2012 we also saved all our deposits in the Police Commissioner elections and came second in South Yorkshire; and in the 2014 EU election we had 126,024 votes for a total campaign spend of about £40,000 (giving the English Democrats by far the most cost efficient electoral result of any serious Party in the UK!). In the 2015 General Election we had the 8th largest contingent of candidates in England.

Why I am standing for the English Democrats in Dagenham & Rainham
1/ Why Dagenham and Rainham? – I lived in Dagenham for 15 years and left when I started to feel like an alien in my own country.
Each time I return I am dismayed to see the way white English people are regarded as second class citizens – and to hear horror stories like the lady who was fined for putting up Christmas decorations which “offended” her ethnically diverse neighbours. Had that been the other way around there would be protestations and allegations of racism.
I started my family in Dagenham and was proud to live in a community with a proud East End working class work ethic. I used to run a stall in Dagenham market and loved the camaraderie.
I consider myself to be a patriotic English woman and am justly proud of my country’s heritage and its – and Dagenham and Rainham’s – magnificent contributions to the world such as the mother of parliaments, the industrial revolution and a plethora of world class literature, arts and medicine.
2/ Why the English Democrats ? – Currently we live in a so called “United Kingdom” but devolution in 1998 by the British Labour party fundamentally changed the United Kingdom and changed England to become the fourth most important Nation within the United Kingdom. My objective and that of the English Democrats is to put England FIRST, not fourth. Those living in England, suffer from all sorts of inequalities compared to those living in Ireland, Scotland and Wales – collectively these people receive a staggering additional £49 Billion per year in public expenditure compared to those living in England. This is via the bribe called the Barnett Formula that was put in place in the 1970’s to try to dampen down Scottish and Welsh Nationalism in particular,
The Conservatives, Labour, Liberal Democrats and UKIP are all so embarrassed about this figure that they have ALL agreed NOT to talk about it. It is frankly disgusting that people who claim to represent English constituencies do not debate this – instead they allow the English Tax payer to continue to subsidise Scotland, Wales and Ireland, even though there are now many areas in England that are poorer then these three nations. This has been going on for over 30 years.
3/ Out of the EU – English Democrats want to take England out of the European Union and re-join EFTA, the European Free Trade Association, this will save a further £9 Billion per year, on top of the £49 Billion saved by leaving Scotland, Wales and Ireland, if “they” want to stay in the EU, that’s up to them.
And “Eurosceptic” UKIP recently received a £1.5million cash injection from Brussels for acquiring pan European party status. The height of hypocrisy.
4/ Only humanitarian Foreign Aid – When the main political parties tell the English that we need to “tighten our belts”, it is totally absurd that they continue to want to give away £10 Billion a year to other countries when the British Government is still paying out more than it is receiving in tax and hence further increasing the National Debt, which is going to be a painful debt for our grandchildren.
5/ English Culture and Identity – I am proud of my English Nationality, and I want to live in an England, where I am free to express my English Identity, without challenge or disapproval. It is totally absurd that I have to defend my right to express my English identity, when I was born English, live in England and speak English – over 60% of people feel the way I do according to the 2011 Census in England.
6/ Radical Islam – we have to end this menace in England, just like is being done throughout Northern Europe. In England we should only have English Law in England and the state should promote only English Customs and Traditions.
I would be delighted to become the first elected “English MP” to represent the English and England, in the way that Nicola Sturgeon Leader of the SNP has vowed to put “Scotland First” in the UK Parliament, I wish to put “England First” – we urgently need English representatives on the UK Parliament to finally stand up for ENGLAND and THE ENGLISH.

Best of Luck to English Democrat Graham Moore v UKIP Ronie Johnson in nearby Erith & Thamesmead
I just wanted to make supporters of the English Democrats aware, that there is a very exciting battle developing between the English Democrats and UKIP in nearby Erith & Thamesmead Constituency.
Our candidate Graham Moore, is standing for the first time, but is taking his campaign very seriously and intends to give his former colleague Ronie Johnson of UKIP a run for his money.
What are you, English or British, it seems like a straight choice to me with only one winner !
Why I am standing for the English Democrats in Dagenham & Rainham
“I’m committed to fighting rampant political correctness and anti English discrimination.
Scotland and Wales each have a voice yet English people are often dubbed “racist bigots” if we even attempt to fly the St George Cross or enjoy a Christian festival.
Why should the English taxpayer, by far the biggest contributor to the wealth of the union, be discriminated against? Under the Barnett Formula, expenditure on Scotland, Wales and NI was £49billion in 2007-8 – English taxpayer contributes lion’s share… according to a House of Lords Select Committee in 2009. This dwarfs the yearly payments to the EU of £9billion and foreign aid £10bn so often touted by UKIP who systematically ignore this disparity – and the notion of a parliament for England. THE ENGLISH HAVE NO VOICE IN WESTMINSTER.
The Scots recently had a referendum on independence and politicians on both sides of Hadrian’s Wall were up in arms – but what about English independence?
English taxpayers foot the bill for free Scottish prescriptions, social care and student grants, as well as their own! This must stop. I deplore the twin monstrosities of rampant political correctness and suffocating nanny state and am sick of the English being demonised, emasculated and ethnically cleansed. Second class citizens in their own country!”
I used to live in Dagenham and have maintained a connection with it since I left but am increasingly dismayed at some of the stories I’m hearing about anti English discrimination.
The impression I get on the doorsteps is that if you’re English and particularly white and/or Christian, you are likely to experience anti English racism. I was shocked at one story of a lady whose Christmas decorations offended her “ethnically diverse” neighbours so badly that they reported it as a hate crime and the lady was fined. This is totally unacceptable and utterly abhorrent and goes beyond even the bounds of the very worst political correctness.
I have a personal loathing of pc which I find is characteristic, paradoxically, of those who are themselves the biggest and most patronising self haters; often white middle class “libertarians” who conversely are anything but truly libertarian, believing that anyone whose views differ to their own is a “racist bigot”. I deplore this mentality which flies in the face of what this country truly is: a fair and tolerant society that has welcomed all manner of incomers and made them comfortable.
Unfortunately, this has been thrown back in our faces and it seems we now have to be tolerant of everyone else’s culture, even to the point of not being able to show our disgust at such things as Islamic extremist terrorism or illegal traveller developments that destroy communities, far from being cohesive. There are groups that have been set up to “free Tibet” whose indigenous people have been ethnically cleansed in their own country and their culture virtually eradicated. Perhaps now it’s time to “free England” in the same way.
Let’s free England from its biggest enemy of all: it’s own home grown band of self hating, apologist, appeasers who lay themselves at the feet of other cultures with such obsequiousness they were even prepared to overlook such horrors as the mass child grooming culture in places like a Rotherham in order not to “offend” the repulsive “sensibilities” of those who think they can come to this country and impose their disgusting medieval practices on us and commit obscenely abuse of vulnerable minors. This is intolerable beyond the extreme!
If elected, my main objective will be to stamp out and completely eradicate this dreadful culture of political correctness and return this country to common sense and restore respect for the indigenous culture and heritage of England and demand respect and allegiance from all those who come to live here. Go anywhere else in the world and you are expected to respect that country’s religion, culture and traditions.
For those expectations to be any different in England is nothing short of gross anti English racism and discrimination.
Candidate Dagenham & Rainham Constituency – General Election English Democrats
Tony Blair, one of those described as an “English MP”
Why should anyone conscious of his or her national identity, least of all a patriot, seek election to represent electors of another nation in the British Parliament? There are too many voters in England who have not considered this question, who have been misled by references to “English MPs” and thus induced to assume that their MP is loyal to them and England, when this is not the case!
Indeed, if they are unaware that Britain is NOT a nation, but a state (albeit it one comprising three nations), such candidates would appear to be unqualified for high public office! If they are aware of this situation, it seems not unreasonable to question their motives.
It might seem tolerable at constituency level for a MP to appear to have a national identity which is other than English, but MPs are…
